Víctor is a versatile arranger, composer and pianist from Venezuela with a focus in classical, Latin, jazz and retro pop music.
Víctor has participated in numerous productions and cd recordings, and was awarded first prize in the 2020 XI Fidelio Piano Composition Contest, with his work España Antigua, competing with nearly 150 composers from around the world.
Víctor has traveled to various countries to give piano recitals, including Germany, Austria, Uruguay, Colombia and Canada. He likes to compare his technique to that of an actor who acts thorough music. He is often affectionately called “The Piano Wizard” for his versatility. In many of his works, Victor has dazzled listeners in capturing the essence and nuances of wide-ranging genres from various eras.
Víctor graduated from the prestigious “Juan Manuel Olivares” Music School in Caracas. He has studied with various well-regarded teachers, including Marian Ember - a Hungarian musician who studied under Adele Marcus in the Juilliard School of Music - and Gerry Weil, an Australian-born Venezuelan Jazz virtuoso with whom Víctor had completed studies in Improvisation and Harmony for Jazz.
